57I previously travelled to Africa, but for work with production companies taking care of the logistics, or for short holidays. This ex- perience proved to be a totally different ball of wax. I was alone and no longer sleeping in hotels. Everything from bus schedules to apartment rentals, are spread by word of mouth which was a bit disconcerting when you don’t know anyone.
