Welcome to the Incredible, Mind-Blowing & Chaotic.The Incredible...I initially travelled to Tanzania for a short two week holiday. While on vacation, the e-commerce company that I worked within the States folded, laying off nearly 7,000 peo- ple. I panicked over the loss of income for a few weeks, but then the majesty of Tanzania kind of took over. Very quickly I met and bonded with a few ex-pats who were living here, either as NGO workers, economists or medical personnel, so I had these touch- stones that helped balance out the logistical and trickle down modernity shockers.56
