The next day we started hiking to the Chalaati glacier. After one hour of walk- ing we arrived in front of an old wooden bridge, over a huge torrent. With very little confidence, but with a lot of courage, we crossed the bridge. On the other side we met five friends from the Netherlands. We sym- pathize, we picnic, and walk together to the glacier. We walked through the woods, be- side the torrent towards the glacier. Later we walked on the moraine, which are huge rocky clusters. We climbed the rocks, being careful not to fall into the crevices or get our legs stuck between two rocks.20
