Grinker is an unusual last name. My family name has been Grinker for as far back as they can trace it, which unfortunately is not as far back as I would like. Some people were trying to figure out what the name meant, but nobody knows. It’s not a lithuanian name, could be german, but nobody has any real information, just some theories.My grandfather was orphaned by the time he was 14, so my family never knew anything about their history.
