Now I am very interested in DNA testing. I’ve been collecting hair samples from most of the people I go to meet. Some people don’t have much hair. I almost stabbed my cousin in South Africa with a pair of scissors, because I had to take hair from his chest because he’s bald. I’ve even had people mail samples of hair to me, but sometimes they don’t give meas much as I would like.In retrospect, I think that a part of my motivation for creating this project stems from the fact that my brother died and I don’t have any children. As far as my family carrying on the Grinker line, there isn’t anyone left. I think meeting all these people and feeling connected to them has given me a family.990
